[Esip-drupal] Draft ESIP Drupal WG budget for WG comments

Hello ESIP Drupalistas:


Draft Budget for the Drupal Working Group 2013-2014


Based on feedback at the August WG telecon, the following budget is
proposed for review by the working group. Please send me suggestions or
comments by September 4, 2013:



   1. Support for outside Drupal expert to talk at the Summer ESIP Drupal
   Lab in 2014. Note the speaker at this summer’s lab, Angie Byron (webchick)
   was terrific. Her ESIP talk already has more than 1400 views on YouTube. <
   http://youtu.be/pOrCf_PVYcc>  Travel and honorarium: $2000
   2. Support for two ESIP Drupalers to go to DrupalCon in Austin 2014 (the
   individuals will be selected by the WG on the basis of need).  They will be
   asked to report out at a later ESIP Drupal telecon. 2x $1500 = $3000
   3. Support for David Bassendine and Adam Sheperd to spin up the ESIP
   Thematic Meta Issue Tracker (TMIT) code, which will allow the WG to
   discover and engage with all issues and modules relevant to the scientific
   use of Drupal. This support  will encourage/reward them to spend the time
   and effort to get this code up and running. See also:

   4. David and Adam will be leading a Code Sprint at the Winter ESIP
   meeting to engage ESIP and local DC Drupal developers to add value to the
   ESIP TMIT code. Travel support is requested for their participation. 2x
   $1500 =$3000
