Hi Drupalistas

Here is the info for tomorrow's call:

At this month's call, Adam Shepherd will be demoing work he's been
undertaking to expand how Drupal interacts with external linked data
sources.

HERE are some specifics:
Stephane Corlesquet's RDF Indexer module, coupled with the ARC2 store
module, laid the groundwork for efficient triplestore management by
leveraging the Drupal Search API. This coupling provides a low threshold
for users wanting to expose their content for semantic querying. However,
for users who already have an established triplestore, or prefer some of
the features of other triplestore implementations, there was a need to
bridge Stephane's work to this community. Based on discussions with
Stephane, I submitted a patch to bridge this gap for triplestores
implementations that exist outside of the Drupal environment. This talk
will demo the patch and the ways I've chosen to implement and extend Drupal
RDF's capabilities, but more importantly, shed light on the need for
collaboration between contributed Drupal module developers and module
users/consumers/critics.
