Subject: Data Stewardship Call for Papers

We would like to invite you and your colleagues to submit papers on the
topics related to *Data Stewardship* to the 95th Annual Meeting of the
American Meteorological Society. This session will be held as part of the
AMS *31st International Conference on Environmental Information Processing
Technologies (EIPT) *Conference. This year's meeting will be held 04-08
January 2014 in Phoenix, Arizona, USA.

We invite proposals for papers describing innovative advances in connecting
data and software to the resulting formal publications via data publication
and citation, curation and preservation of data, and solutions which help
us understand how data and information professionals can serve data needs
in this field. In the past, papers presented in recent years have covered
a wide variety of subjects related to data stewardship and best practices
and have been presented by representatives of national weather services,
vendors, universities, researchers, international organizations, etc.
The *Data
Stewardship* session is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, 08 January
2015. If you have any questions please contact the chair of the session:
Matthew Mayernik ( mayernik at ucar.edu).

If you are interested in submitting an abstract for this EIPT session,
please submit your abstract electronically by 01 August 2014 via the AMS
Web page at http://annual.ametsoc.org/2015/index.cfm/call-for-papers/

well as Web posting of the recorded meeting presentation; authors of
accepted papers are encouraged to contribute to this body of work via
