INC NEWS - Workshop on Bike Plan -- next Tuesday

Durham City and County are collaborating on a countywide Bicycle Plan in 
order to improve the biking environment throughout Durham.  The Plan will 
evaluate existing conditions and propose bicycle facility/program 
recommendations, as well as a funding/implementation strategy.



The first public workshop for the Durham Comprehensive Bicycle Plan will be 
held on Tuesday, January 31st at City Hall. It's a drop-in event from 4:00pm 
til 8:00pm in the 1st floor City Council Chambers.  Presentations will be 
made at 5:00pm and 7:00pm.  Staff will also be available for questions, and 
public surveys will be administered to take feedback on local bicycling 
conditions.
