Hello,

This afternoon our dog, Bean, who we adopted from A New Leash On Life on New
Years Eve 2004 was stolen out of the back of my husband's car. He was parked
behind Barnes Supply in Durham on Ninth Street. He went in to buy Bean's dog
food, and when he came out she had been stolen. Witnesses say they saw her
being lead away by a young man. The Durham Police as well as everyone we
know is driving around the area looking for her. She is the light of my
life. She is a pit bull mix, and I know that she has not been taken by good
people. I am imagining the worst. She is micro-chipped. Her Vet is North Paw
Animal Hospital in Durham. She is wearing a green collar with the numbers of
my cell, husband's cell, and her vet engraved on the collar. She weighs 55
pounds and has big ears. Please keep an eye out, contact us if you have ANY
information. There is a $1000 (ONE THOUSAND DOLLAR) reward for her safe
return. And keep her in your prayers.
