photographs mostly of downtown...but as a pharmacist he may have one
from Forest Hills 489-9811

Subject: INC NEWS - photo help needed of old Eckard Drug stores

This came in the email box today from a lady looking to piece together a
photographic life of her father. She's in Alaska now (since 1968) and is
looking for a photo of the Eckard Drug buildings as they were in the
Forest Hills Shopping Center (now a beauty supply store), Roxborro Road,
Broad Street, and Main Street. If anyone has one, even if it's just a
regular photograph, I'd like to borrow it. I'll scan it and send it to
her
and return yours as it was loaned. Her dad expanded these stores many
years ago and I guess she's doing a book on him.
