Make the downtown Durham Green Scene - volunteer at the Durham Earth Day
Festival on April 19th  in Durham Central Park where It's Easy Being
Green!
 
Parks and Recreation and Keep Durham Beautiful are soliciting over 100
volunteers to help with Durham's Earth Day Festival on April 19, from
11:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. in Durham Central Park (502 Foster Street). Support
the cause, join the celebration and help make the 2008 Durham Earth Day
Festival green and great!
Volunteers will receive an Earth Day t-shirt and a pass to the volunteer
hospitality lounge. For a list of volunteer job descriptions, visit

We especially need  eco-minded volunteers to work at the Zero-Waste

The Durham Earth Day Festival is sponsored by the City of Durham Parks
and Recreation and Keep Durham Beautiful, in partnership with SEEDS, the
Community Green Guide, Durham Central Park, Inc., the Scrap Exchange,
TROSA, the City of Durham Solid Waste Management and the City of Durham
Stormwater Services.
