Proposed UDO Text Amendments

Please be advised of the upcoming proposed changes to the text of the
Durham Unified Development Ordinance (UDO):

Text Change TC0800001 proposes revisions to the following section of the
Unified Development Ordinance:  Sec. 6.10.1, Nonresidential Development
Standards, specifically paragraph D, Compact Tier, Downtown Tier, and CBD
District.

The City Council public hearing is tentatively scheduled for June 2, 2008
at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at 101 City Hall Plaza.  Please
contact the Planning Department for confirmation of the hearing dates. 
The proposed revisions, once finalized, may be viewed at the web site
listed above.

Protection Standards; Sec. 8.7, Watershed Protection Overlay Standards;
and Sec. 16.3, Defined Terms [Stream, Intermittent and Stream, Perennial],
relating to stormwater.

The City Council public hearing is tentatively scheduled for June 2, 2008
at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at 101 City Hall Plaza.  Please

Private Streets; Sec. 12.3.2, Street Names; Sec. 12.3.3, Street Signs and
Markers; and Sec. 13.5.1, Access.
