I believe in supporting local, independently owned stores for Father’s Day
and every other gift giving occasion. An alternative to buying some thing is
to give a ticket for a performance, pay for someone to take a class or make
a contribution to a non-profit organization in someone’s honor.

Visit DurhamStuff.com or drop by the Durham Visitor Information Center at
101 E Morgan Street in Downtown for Durham-branded shirts, hats,?tote bags,
coffee mugs, water bottles, and other memorabilia.

tickets and reserve your seats.

Down in the Hollow
Director Peden Young will be in attendance

Down in the Hollow tracks Nathan Roark as he hunts for his food, bathes in a
creek, and cooks dinner for his daughters on a wood-burning stove; his
off-the-grid lifestyle is intimately connected with nature. The documentary
follows urban foster youth who journey into Nathan’s woods where he teaches
them the value of a relationship with the earth. Along the way, we explore
Nathan’s path towards his chosen life, and, with the kids, we learn how
respect for the earth can teach us respect for each other and for ourselves..

Director Peden Young will be in attendance to moderate Q&A following the
film.
