INC NEWS - First Annual Preservation Durham Ghost {building} Tour on Nov 1

Join Preservation Durham on Saturday, November 1, 2008 for their first annual Ghost {building} Tour!

Not your standard “spooky dead people” tour, this ghost building tour will highlight the architectural ghosts of by-gone structures that continue to haunt us.

This year’s theme is “Hotels and Theaters”.

Tour participants will witness the streetscapes of yore reappear before their own eyes: the two towers of the Washington Duke Hotel, the Victorian elegance of the Carrolina Hotel, the Wonderland Theatre – a Hayti hotspot, and many more.

Tour sites will be open from 1 to 4 pm.  Tickets will be available for sale on the day of the tour: $10 for adults, $5 for college and high school students, free for children under 14.
