  The Sixth Annual Preservation Party is this Friday at Morgan Imports!

Morgan Imports is located in Peabody Place in the Brightleaf District
The festivities take place Friday, November 21, 2008 from 6:00 – 9:30 pm

Party highlights include

§                     10% of ALL purchases made 
during the evening will benefit Preservation Durham

§                     75+ Silent Auction items 
with item such as fabulous artwork, a signed Duke 
basketball and poster, four tickets to the Duke - 
VA Tech basketball game, four tickets to the Duke 
- UNC football game, lots of professional services, and gift cards.

§                     Food from Piazza Italia and Parizade

§                     Entertainment and a Cash Bar

the new book, Brighter Leaves: Celebrating the 
Arts in Durham, discussing the vibrant history of 
Bull City theater, dance, visual arts, music, 
architecture, and more.  Don’t miss it!

2:30    Reception with music by harpist Winifred Garrett

3:00    Program with authors Jean Anderson, Jim 
Wise, Linda Belans, Nonna Skumanich, and Ranny Umberger

Sunday, November 23
Main Library Auditorium, 300 N. Roxboro St.

Copies of Brighter Leaves will be available for purchase after the program.
