Durham Invites Public Input on Carver Street Extension Project
What: Carver Street Extension Project Public Meeting

Fast Facts:
* The City's Department of Public Works is in the preliminary
design phase for the extension of Carver Street from Danube Lane to the
intersection of Old Oxford Highway and Hamlin Road. This public meeting
is an opportunity for residents to learn more about this project and
provide input to City staff.
* Due to the volume of traffic in this area, this project is
necessary to increase both the street capacity and make intersection
improvements.
* Additional information, including a project map of the area to
be affected by the extension, is available on the City's Web site at
www.durhamnc.gov/departments/works/project_carver_st_ext.cfm.
