[Durham INC] Latin Concert this Thursday on CCB Plaza

MUSIC ON THE PLAZA

Play More with DPR at a free concert in downtown Durham at the CCB Plaza
(201 N. Corcoran Street). The concert will begin at 6 p.m. and will
feature Latin music.

 

The host for the concert is Julio Martinez, who is known to Triangle and
Triad listeners as "El hombre de la Calle (The Man of the Streets).
Martinez is a roving news reporter for the radio station La Regia 540
AM.

 

Latin Sounds

Latin Sounds is a masterful two-member band that plays a variety of
music from around the world including traditional flamenco music from
Spain and Andean music from South America.

 

The Farandula Show

The Farandula Show is a popular Latin musical group made up of six
enthusiastic young musicians. Performing Cumbia, Nortena and Barduguese,
the Farandula Show will delight the audience with dynamic music.
