One of the cool booths at the Earth Day festival last weekend was from the National Children's Study, which is a long-term (over 20 years) look at 100,000 kids nation-wide, to see what affects their health and development. They are looking for women who are pregnant or could become pregnant and live in certain parts of Durham County (I'm not sure what parts). Being part of the study will be a big commitment, but the pay-off will be huge.

I'm not sure what parts of the county they are recruiting in, but neighborhood list-serves and events in the target areas would seem to be a great way for them to get the word out.
Regards, pat
