The website says there is free dinner. I'm not sure that the list of potential issues isn't missing something important.

Facts: Citizens of Durham can voice their opinions on the biggest health concerns for them and their neighbors at upcoming community listening sessions about the Durham County Community Health Assessment. Looking toward the future, the Durham County Health Department, in collaboration with the Partnership for a Healthy Durham, is seeking insight from citizens to learn more about the current state of the community and help decide which community health concerns should be addressed for the next three years. "Healthy Durham has been one of the County's major strategic objectives over the last several years. It is important that we focus on what we need to do to accomplish this important aim. Plainly stated, we really need our citizens to weigh-in!," said Michael Ruffin, county manager for Durham County Government.Thirteen potential health priorities have been identified for Durham County based on last year's survey of 210 households, North Carolina priority health issues, and the top causes of death in Durham County. They include: Access to Medical/ Dental CareCancerDiabetesDrug AbuseHealthy Eating and WeightHeart DiseaseHIV/Sexually Transmitted InfectionsInfant DeathsMental HealthNeighborhood SafetyPoverty and EducationTeen HealthUnintentional Injuries At the upcoming listening sessions, participants will use the priority list to help to select the top five health issues in Durham County. The new health priorities will drive strategic plans and potential funding opportunities for the Durham County Health Department, Partnership for a Healthy Durham, Durham Health Innovations and Duke University Medical Center. The final results from all of the community listening sessions and a comprehensive community health assessment report will be released to the public in early 2012.Each participant will be provided with dinner.
