[Durham INC] work day in Duke Park, 1/14 Saturday at 9:30am

Thanks so  much for spreading the word!  I'm CCing the InterNeighborhood 
Council in  hopes of reaching other neighborhoods - the more the merrier!  
We'll meet  at 9:30 near the old bath house.
 
Please  bring rakes and pitchforks if you got 'em, and vine cutters,  too.
 
Also, if  you have any saplings or wild seedlings, feel free to bring them 
along as  well.

Will you consider volunteering for the Jan 14th  work day in Duke Park,  
and encourage others to turn out?   I  know that some of you share my anti-ivy 
fervor, and we’re definitely going to  work on killing a bunch of the ivy 
that’s choking off trees.     We’re also going to plant new trees and 
refurbish the natural filter system  that drains into the marsh.    We’ll start at 
9:30, probably go  till 12:30. 
With enough volunteers we can make a big impact.   Please help spread the 
word.
