Durham County Convenience Sites to Temporarily Close on June 6th  
   Durham, NC - June 4, 2013 - Durham County's General Services Department will close its four solid waste and recycling convenience sites temporarily on Thursday, June 6, 2013, from 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., for a departmental meeting. Users of the County's convenience sites are urged to adjust their disposal plans accordingly on this date.     
 
 The four solid waste and recycling convenience sites are located at:
Parkwood Site # 1 - Highway 55 & T.W. Alexander DriveBahama Site # 2 - Quail Roost Road & Ball RoadRedwood Site # 3 - Redwood Road & Electra DriveRougemont Site #4 - Highway 501 North & Bill Poole Road
 
All sites will reopen at 2:30p.m. on June 6th and remain open until the normal closing time of 7p.m.  Residents are not permitted to leave trash, garbage or recyclables outside the gates while the convenience center sites are closed.
