Significant Repaving and Repair Project to Improve Four City Streets
A significant repaving and repair project will soon improve portions of four city streets. The $1.2 million contract for the project includes milling, patching, utility adjustments, asphalt paving, and pavement markings on North Hoover Road, Broad Street, Guess Road, and North Elizabeth Street.

Public-Private Streetscape Improvement Project Set to Move forward
A public-private streetscape improvement project is moving forward along West Chapel Hill and Kent Streets. The City will spend $220,000 for the improvements in coordination with Self-Help's Kent Corner Project.

City Council Approves New Contract for Downtown Business Improvement District Services
The Downtown Business Improvement District is expected to see several major service changes over the next year. The City Council approved a $653,000 contract for Downtown Durham Incorporated (DDI) to provide services within the district. DDI President Geoff Durham explains how that money will be used and how it will help support future growth in downtown.
