Hello:
 
As a contact for an active or former Durham Open Space and Trails Matching Grants project or a local community organization, I wanted to let you know about the current Matching Grants Application Cycle being held by Durham County government. 
 The current cycle will begin on September 1, 2014, and run through November 14, 2014. 

 
I have attached an informational flyer to this email with additional details about the Matching Grants program, examples of past projects, and details on an information session planned for Tuesday, September 16, 2014.  Some significant
 changes to the program for this year include extending the time to complete a project to 24-months and allowing organizations with currently open Matching Grants projects to apply in this cycle.
 
Please let me know if you have any questions or comments about the program; and do feel free to share this with others that are a part of the Durham community that may be interested in this opportunity.
