City Leaders Working to Address Improvements at City's Public Pools
City leaders are trying to determine how to address $2.2 million in repairs at the City's public pools and spray grounds. Find out what the primary problems are with each of the pools.

Open Data Closer to Becoming Reality
Durham City and County are taking significant steps toward creating a platform to make public data easily accessible. To support implementation, $94,000 will be spent on professional services to develop an open data portal.


New City Website In Place by Summer
A new City website is expected to be in place this summer. The new $169,000 website will be based on a platform that will provide Web 2.0 tools, enabling e-Government engagement with residents, facilitating interactive information sharing, and providing a more customer-centered design.

City Employees Continue to Impact Community
City employees are continuing to make an impact in their community. The 7 Stars Employee Giving Campaign raised $98,000 last year and will go to organizations throughout Durham and beyond.
