[Durham INC] Reminder and Call for Agenda Items

Our June INC Delegates Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday night, June 23rd at 7:00 in Golden Belt (807 E. Main St.) Building 2, 3rd Floor in the Neighborhood Improvement Services conference room.

We have two transit related resolutions slated for vote:  One regarding East Durham and the need for a station stop East of Alston Ave.  The other, regarding Downing Creek concerns.  Among other things, there is also a political / fairness concern based on their political location (they are are represented by officials elected in Durham) compared with their planning location (they are in Chapel Hill’s transit stop planing area).

There is also an attempt to synthesize the two sets of concerns into one resolution.  This resolution is not slated for a vote Tuesday night, and will be circulated separately.

Given our recent tendency to longer meetings and the number of moving parts, there are no speakers scheduled.  Most of the transit resolutions call for more study and discussion with neighborhood stakeholders so the temptation of asking TTA/GoTriangle to speak directly to INC was resisted.

Please let me know of other items requiring specific mention on the agenda by Monday morning.
