The science park center stuff is not yet on the website.  We will need to look at whether what someone thought was a good idea next to RTP is a good idea everywhere else it could be applied.
There is nothing on this other item either.
Evaluation and Assessment Report (A1500001). The applicants, City of Durham and Durham County, are requesting that changes to the Future Land Use Map made by each governing body in 2014 be rectified and that several amendments to the Durham Comprehensive Plan policies be adopted. The Durham County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Monday, August 10, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. in the Commissioner’s Meeting Room, 200 East Main Street, 2nd Floor. The Durham City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, August 17, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at 101 City Hall Plaza, 1st Floor.

Please be advised of the upcoming Durham Planning Commission public hearings on proposed changes to the text of the Durham Unified Development
 Ordinance (UDO), and an associated plan amendment and zoning map change request:
 
Text amendment TC140006 is a privately-initiated application to establish a new zoning district called Science Research Park-Center (SRP-C). The amendment establishes the zoning district and associated regulations for the district. 
 The application is proposed as a County-only district.
                Associated cases:
Plan amendment A1500007, RTP Text Amendments, is a privately-initiated application to amend the text of the
Durham Comprehensive Plan to specifically address land use and economic development issues related to Research Triangle Park.
 
Zoning Map Change Z1500018, Park Center, is a privately-initiated rezoning request to rezone 100.4 acres of multiple parcels located at the northwest side of the intersection of NC 54 and Davis Drive. The request

Text amendment 1500005 is a privately-initiated application to revise certain provisions for accessory structures and home occupations within Sec. 5.4, Accessory Uses and Structures, including allowing accessory structures to the
 side of primary structures in the RS-20 district if the lot size is at least two acres, and to clarify that accessory structures can be used for home occupation purposes. Additional technical re-organization of certain standards is also proposed.
 
The Durham Planning Commission will hold the public hearing on Tuesday, August 11, 2015, at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at 101 City Hall Plaza, 1st Floor. Due to ongoing City Hall construction,
 please check with the Police Officer at the main desk upon entering City Hall to verify the location of the meeting.
