A grand total of 1266 people have votes already in the primary. Turn-out has been especially light at the East Library.
reasons to get out and vote this week:The sun came out for a while today so quite complaining about the rain.It would be so embarrassing if your candidate lost in the primary. If you want to have the convenience of early voting, you need to show you value it by using it.It is an easy way to update your name and address if they are wrong in the voting rolls. It will encourage the campaigners who have been standing in the rain -- which is stopping, OK -- waiting for you.

One Stop Voting started on last Thursday at the Board of Elections downtown, the East Regional Library and the South Regional Library. The schedule is below.

If you need to check on how you are registered (always a good idea),go to https://vt.ncsbe.gov/Voter_Search_Public/ Mistakes in updating the voter rolls do occur, and if you are the 1 in a million that accidentally gets deleted, you want to know about it sooner rather than later.
Note that, except for a few new voters, you do not need an ID this year, but they will be asking you the annoying question about whether you will have an ID for next year.
Regards, pat
