[Durham INC] Parkwood Christmas Holiday Parade Dec. 5th, participation invite

[Parkwood HOA]

The Parkwood Parade Committee invites you to participate in our 2015 Annual
Christmas Holiday Parade. 
 
The Annual Christmas Holiday Parade for the Parkwood Community is scheduled
for Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 3pm (rain date Dec. 12th) and is sponsored
by the Parkwood Association, with the help and participation of many
community volunteers. 
 
We are expecting between 600 and 1000 to attend what is now the only holiday
parade in Durham, and we would love to have you as part of it! There is no
charge whatsoever to participate.
 
If you would like to participate in this year's parade, please email the
Parkwood Office at pa.office at parkwoodnc.org. We will be happy to answer any
questions you might have.
 
There will be food trucks set up in the Parkwood Association office at 1417
Seaton Road-Bam Pow Chow and American Meltdown, so please come early, grab
something to eat, and then after the parade, please come to the Parkwood
office to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus and enjoy live music, doughnuts
and water, and a make-and-take craft table organized by the Scrap Exchange. 

Check in for parade participants will be at the Parkwood Shopping Center and
will begin at 1pm on the day of the Parade. Please come to the North end of
parking lot for this check-in (this is the Seaton Road end of the parking
lot across from the Parkwood Volunteer Fire Department located at 1409
Seaton Road, Durham, NC).
 
Kick off the holidays with the sights and sounds of the season, and come
join the fun!
