[Durham INC] Community Gardens, pro/con?

	  I am interested in neighborhoods with community gardens.  I saw this intersting post about a garden in a low-income Charleston neighborhood. http://cele.sog.unc.edu/the-power-of-small 

For Durham, have they worked out? I know SEEDS is quite a big operation; I'm interested in smaller-scale efforts.  Do people really share and keep them up?
