Guidelines Governing Local Historic Districts & Landmarks Updated
The City and County now have updated guidelines governing local historic districts and landmarks. Denson Apartments for Veterans Attract National Attention
The Denson Apartments for Veterans are attracting national attention for providing permanent supportive housing for veterans who are homeless and have disabilities. Congressman David Price and Mayor William V. "Bill" Bell recently toured the community<http://durhamnc.gov/DocumentCenter/View/8963> after it was recognized by the National Community Development Association.

Residents Encouraged to Give Budget Feedback During Coffee with Council Sessions
Coffee With Council<http://durhamnc.gov/DocumentCenter/View/8489> sessions will be held between now and mid-March so residents can give feedback on budget priorities for next year. The remaining four sessions will be held at various locations throughout Durham and two public hearings will be held as well.


Registration Now Open for Durham Senior Games
Registration is now open for this year's Durham Senior Games<http://durhamnc.gov/2781/Durham-Senior-Games>, an Olympic-style competition designed to give anyone age 50 and better the opportunity to compete in a variety of athletic and artistic activities.
