The following proposed text amendments to the Unified Development Ordinance
(UDO) are available for public review and comment, and may be viewed at
http://durhamnc.gov/415/Pending-Text-Amendments. No public hearings have
been scheduled at this time. The Joint City-County Planning Committee
(JCCPC) will be presented with these amendments to provide comments and
additional policy direction at its August 3rd meeting. The JCCPC does not
hold public hearings, although its meetings are open to the public

*TC1600001-* *WCF Technical Changes:* A set of amendments to the wireless
communication facility standards in paragraph 5.3.3N, Wireless
Communication Facilities for Transmitting and Receiving Electronic Signals
(WCFs), to make technical corrections and clarifications.



*TC1600002- TIA Expiration:* An amendment to clarify that the period of
validity of a traffic impact analysis (TIA), pursuant to Sec. 3.3, Traffic
Impact Analysis, applies to a TIA submitted with a zoning map change with a
development plan.



*TC1600004 - Historic Preservation and Other Process Changes:* A set of
technical amendments to make corrections, clarifications, and re-organize
sections of the UDO related to certificates of appropriateness and review
procedures for various applications. Primarily amends Sec. 2.1, Governing
Bodies; Sec. 2.5, Historic Preservation Commission; Sec. 3.2, Common Review
Procedures; Sec. 3.5, Zoning Map Change; Sec. 3.6, Subdivision Review; Sec.
3.7, Site Plan Review; Sec. 3.16, Historic District or Landmark
Designation; and Sec. 3.17, Certificate of Appropriateness.
