[Durham INC] fiber install issues

We have been getting repairs done by the fiber companies (Ed was going to respond with more details).


As an update, google is now saying, "Oh, putting in fiber is pretty complicated.  Maybe we'll try something wireless."  What they aren't saying, but might be thinking is, "Well, we made our point and the phone and cable companies are putting in higher-speed capacity, which serves our purpose just as well."

I know other neighborhoods have had issues with the fiber install folks. What I don't remember is what you were able to do to get relief.
We've had one street have lots of water connections busted.
We've had boxes put in yards without permission.
We've had large tree root systems compromised.

Enough complaints for the city to post a notice that "it is not us"

Anyone have successful strategies to share?
