[Durham INC] Light Rail Financing

All, 

Orange County’s independent consultants have today released current light rail cost projections.  Below I have compared them to those provided for the 2011 sales tax referendum.

2011 = $1300M construction cost
50% Federal = $650M
25% State = $325M
25% Local = $325M

2017 = $2500M construction cost + ($800M interest to 2062) 
50% Federal = $1250M
10% State = $250M
40% Local = $1000M + $800M = $1.8 BILLION
