Central Park Waterline Replacement Project Update and Two-Week Look Ahead

Planned Road / Lane Closures will occur as follows:

  *   Week of 8/14:
     *   Corporation Street westbound will be closed between Liggett Street and North Duke Street.
     *   Eastbound Lane of Fernway Avenue will be closed between Morris Street and Fuller Street.
  *   Week of 8/21:
     *   Corporation Street westbound will be closed between Liggett Street and North Duke Street.
     *   Eastbound Lane of Fernway Avenue will be closed between Morris Street and Fuller Street.
     *   Fuller Street will be closed between Corporation Street and Fernway Avenue.

Week of August 14, 2017:

  *   Corporation Street will be reduced to one lane as water line installation begins.

     *   Traffic control signs and markings will be used for all traffic detours.
     *   Flaggers will be utilized for traffic control as needed.
     *   Sidewalk traffic will be disrupted.
     *   Noise levels in excess of the current City noise ordinance are anticipated during work hours.
     *   On-street parking will be closed in work areas.
     *   Planned work hours are 7 AM to 6 PM.
     *   No water or sewer service disruptions are anticipated.


  *   Fernway Avenue will be reduced to one lane as water line installation begins.

     *   Traffic control signs and markings will be used for all traffic detours.
     *   Flaggers will be utilized for traffic control as needed.
     *   Sidewalk traffic will be disrupted.
     *   Noise levels in excess of the current City noise ordinance are anticipated during work hours.
     *   On-street parking will be closed in work areas.
     *   Planned work hours are 7 AM to 6 PM.
     *   No water service disruption is anticipated.


  *   Line testing will occur on Fernway Avenue from Morris Street to Fuller Street and then on Fuller Street from Fernway Avenue to W. Corporation Street.

Saturday - Sunday August 19-20, 2017:

  *   No work planned. Fernway Avenue will be reduced to one lane between Fuller Street and Morris Street. W. Corporation Street westbound lane will be closed between Liggett Street and N. Duke Street.

Week of August 21, 2017:

  *   Corporation Street will be reduced to one lane as water line installation continues.

     *   Traffic control signs and markings will be used for all traffic detours.
     *   Flaggers will be utilized for traffic control as needed.
     *   Sidewalk traffic will be disrupted.
     *   Noise levels in excess of the current City noise ordinance are anticipated during work hours.
     *   On-street parking will be closed in work areas.
     *   Planned work hours are 7 AM to 6 PM.
     *   No water or sewer service disruptions are anticipated.

     *   Noise levels in excess of the current City noise ordinance are anticipated during work hours.
     *   On-street parking will be closed in work areas.
     *   Planned work hours are 7 AM to 6 PM.
     *   Water service disruptions are anticipated. Residents and business owners will be contacted seven days prior to disruption.

Saturday - Sunday August 26-27, 2017:

  *   No work planned. Fernway Avenue will be reduced to one lane between Fuller Street and Morris Street. Fuller Street will be closed between Corporation Street and Fernway Avenue. W. Corporation Street westbound lane will be closed between Liggett Street and N. Duke Street.
