NCWorks Career Center at Briggs to Temporarily Close for Renovations

DURHAM, N.C. - The NCWorks Career Center Durham at Briggs<http://durhamnc.gov/572/NCWorks-Career-Center> will close at noon on Thursday, October 5 and will remain closed on Friday, October 6 for renovations.

The Center, which is located at 1105 S. Briggs Avenue, will be undergoing a $50,000 makeover to include new paint, new carpet and new workstations. The Center is using Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WOIA) funds for the project, which are passed through the N.C. Division of Workforce Solutions from the U.S. Department of Labor.

The NCWorks Career Center will open at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, October 9. Businesses and jobseekers are encouraged to visit NCWorks Online<https://www.ncworks.gov/vosnet/Default.aspx> for assistance during the renovation.
