[Durham INC] Good ideas from other towns, plus some articles on pressures on affordable rents

Every year, Outside magazine has an issue on great places to live if you want to spend your leisure seriously into sport.  This year they are spreading good ideas, such as

  *   A beer CSA
  *   A small business incubator hub -- http://www.memshop.org
  *   Art along a rail-trail -- they mention a station with haiku fortunes, and I was thinking it might be a fun public health event to have a one-time event, where you walk a block and then get to do something like get a math puzzle or a haiku fortune or whatever

The issue of Outside also has an article (not apparently on the web) about you Airbnb is driving up rents in tourist destination towns (owners make more from 2 months of short-term rentals than from renting to local workers).
