[Durham INC] Wireless health update

Hmmm. A quote from MIT Technology News, I see.

All Industry needs to do is use the word “inconclusive” and it puts peoples’ minds at ease on the topic of biological effects of microwave radiation exposure. I wouldn’t give this spin from MIT Technology News that much weight. There are too many quotes from concerned doctors and scientists whose expertise lies in how biological organisms are affected by RF — at levels deemed safe by the FCC.

This, for example on the same study, from Bioinitiative.org (these are scientists and MDs). Emphasis is mine:
"The National Toxicology Program under the National Institutes of Health has completed the largest-ever animal study on cell phone radiation and cancer. The results confirm that cell phone radiation exposure levels within the currently allowable safety limits are the “likely cause” of brain and heart cancers in these animals, according to Dr. John Bucher, Associate Director of the NTP. One in twelve (12) male rats developed either malignant cancer (brain and rare heart tumors) or pre-cancerous lesions that can lead to cancer. Tumors called schwannomas were induced in the heart, in the same kind of cells in the brain that have lead to acoustic neuromas seen in human studies. The NTP says it is important to release these completed findings now given the implications to global health. No cancers occurred in the control group….
"Dr. Bucher said the animals’ exposure was about the same as for people who are heavy users of cell phones. He also confirmed that the exposure of 1.5 W/Kg is lower than currently allowed under FCC public safety limits. Testing on rats is standard in predicting human cancers.” http://www.bioinitiative.org/cell-phone-radiation-study-confirms-cancer-risk/

Mind you, this is not the only study to be considered (there are thousands showing deleterious effects) and the “inconclusive” results of any study is not the same as proof of safety. When a study provides any evidence of detriment, should be of concern.

Epidemiological studies consistently show increased risk for brain cancer. And cancer is not the only health issue. Many studies are showing a causal link between RF a host of health effects:

http://www.bioinitiative.org/table-of-contents/

The vast majority of independently funded research is finding health effects.

And, I am a “canary in the coal mine,” being all too aware of the health effects. After long term exposure to my “safe” Clearwire wireless modem and a wireless router, cell phones, wireless laptop, and “Smart" electric meter, I am now unable to use wireless devices at all. I developed an intense sensitivity to wireless emissions causing a host of uncomfortable and debilitating symptoms.

I am unable to be comfortable in public places. I am a musician that can’t go to concerts. I can’t go to restaurants or coffee shops. I had to quit teaching classes at a local school because of the Wi-Fi. I can no longer participate in the activities of the non-profit that I was on the Board of for its first 6 years. The organization was a huge part of my soul, and I miss it and the wonderful people I worked with terribly.

Had I known up front that wireless can cause this harm, I’d have realized two years before I did what was causing my symptoms. I may have limited my exposure to wireless and been able to avoid having my EHS become irreversible and my symptoms become as bad as they became. I may have prevented them from being triggered by such a wide range of frequencies, and at such low levels. It is my hope that I can help prevent others from suffering my fate, or from suffering other health effects, by sharing this somewhat personal story, and showing people the admittedly unwelcome information at the links above, and those in my previous email.

You can hate the messenger. I don’t mind. It’s that important.

Best regards,
Ellen.
