Facts:

  * Durham County Government is moving into the next phase of the redevelopment of two County-owned sites located at the 300 and 500 blocks of East Main Street.
  * In February 2018, community input was sought on the public vision for the county-owned sites. The input gathered from the three previous sessions was used to shape the guiding public interests for development on these sites.
  * The Durham Board of County Commissioners is now seeking input on two proposed development plans. Both plans under consideration feature a mix of multifamily market and affordable housing, ground-floor office and retail space, and parking. The commissioners will use the input to make next-step decisions regarding potential development.
  * The public is invited to attend one of three input sessions, scheduled July 17th, July 28th and August 2nd, to learn about and provide feedback on the proposed plans.
  * Residents are strongly encouraged to attend a face-to-face session. Those unable to attend can complete an online feedback form regarding the proposed development plans by visiting https://unc.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3gxAMSbPJV6l6WV
  *   For project details, visit the County's 300 and 500 E.
