The full schedule of early voting is at http://www.dconc.gov/home/showdocument?id=26112, which starts next Wednesday (a day early). Early voting hours are extended (the polls are open from 7AM to 7PM today), and there are 6 locations. (The alarm sounded this morning on NPR doesn't apply in Durham County.)

There is supposed to be a "real-time mapping tool" that shows the wait time at each site (see the bottom of http://www.dconc.gov/home/showdocument?id=26112) but it doesn't seem to be working this morning.

In 2016, seven out of 10 voters in Durham County used early voting (this is good, because it takes pressure off Election Day).

If you want to use Ballots by Mail, the information is at http://www.dconc.gov/government/departments-a-e/board-of-elections/voting-registration/voting/ballot-by-mail (this has been available for the last month)

There are a bunch of judges running, as well as voting on constitutional amendments. The official voting guide is: https://www.ncsbe.gov/Portals/0/Documents/2018_Judicial_Voter_Guide_(online).pdf

Regards, pat
