Book Sale - Books Among Friends

(1058 W Club Blvd, Suite 252, inside Northgate beside Sears)

Saturday, December 1 · Members Only: 10 a.m. - 12 noon · Open to the Public: 12 noon - 4 p.m.

Sunday, December 2 · $10 Bag Sale, Open to the Public: 1 - 4 p.m.



Still looking for holiday gifts to give? Shop at the Friends of the Durham Library’s final sale of the year at Books Among Friends on Saturday, December 1, and Sunday, December 2. Proceeds go to the Friends of the Durham Library, a nonprofit that helps the Durham County Library fund programs, services, and materials. On Saturday, hardbacks are $3, trade paperbacks are $2, small paperbacks and young adult books are $1, and children’s books are 25 cents to $1. AV materials are $1 to $4 and special books are priced as marked. Saturday’s sale is open to the public starting at 12 noon. For early access starting at 10 a.m., purchase an annual individual membership ($15) or family membership ($25) at the door. Sunday’s $10-per-bag sale, open to the public, is from 1 to 4 p.m. At the bag sale, all items, regardless of their original prices, can be part of a $10 bag. Fill as many bags as you want! A half bag is $5, and items amounting to less than a half bag are half their original prices. Books Among Friends is inside Northgate—immediately on the right as you exit Sears into the mall.
