We got a last set of notifications, but will no longer be getting paper copies of the announcements.  If you are interested in these matters, you can subscribe to get the notifications.  In the future, I will probably just forward issues that look like they might be of general interest to neighborhoods.

Upcoming neighborhood meetings

  *   March 4 -- 140-150 acres at East Carver and Cub Creek Road, to go from industrial to PDR allowing 4-8 residential units / acre
  *   February 25 -- 180 acres SW of the intersection of Kemp and Virgil Roads, from very low density residential to PDR (so going from 2 to 4 units / acre)
  *   February 6 -- 211 acres just west of Baptist Road and Santee Road, to go from rural to very low density residential

Planning Commission on February 12

  *   707 Morehead Ave -- apparently changing the development plan
  *   Patterson Place design district
  *   1309 Junction Road -- from residential rural to a relatively low-density PDR (the property has to satisfy Falls/Jordan Rules and is in a major transportation corridor), and changing the future land use from industrial to residential
  *   Odyssey Townes -- Adding a development plan and changing from a mix of large commercial and multi-family to commercial plus denser residential (but not multi-family), on NC55  at Odyssey Drive

City Council from February 18

  *   Weaving Water -- to city jurisdiction (3920 Rivermont Road)
  *   Comstock Industrial -- 4509 Page Road and 5505 Comstock Road, from rural residential to light industrial, and move to city
