Join Preservation Durham for the first Speaker Series of the year. Our
speaker series seek to connect people with places that creates Durham's
cultural heritage. College Heights historians Melva Rigel and Beverly Evans
will lead us into greater awareness about the who's who in the historic
black neighborhood, College Heights. In January 2019 this historic black
community was approved to be listed on the National Register of Historic
Places <https://files.nc.gov/ncdcr/nr/DH0303.pdf>.
