<p class="MsoNoSpacing">DURHAM, N.C. – Due to anticipated impacts from the winter storm forecasted for Durham later tonight and tomorrow, the City of Durham is announcing the following closures and service updates.

<p class="MsoNoSpacing">City Hall and all other City facilities are closed to the public on Thursday, February 18.
<a href="https://www.dprplaymore.org/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=189">Durham Parks and Recreation</a>’s administration office and all recreation centers are also closed to the public tomorrow, and all in-person programs are canceled.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing">At this time, the Solid Waste Management Department plans to collect curbside garbage and recycling carts on Thursday, February 18 if road and weather conditions permit. Thursday customers are asked to have their carts on their curbs
by 6 a.m. in the event collections can safely take place. To receive <a href="https://durhamnc.gov/2798/Solid-Waste-Collections-Status">
daily service updates</a> regarding curbside collections, residents are encouraged to download the free Durham Rollout app for
<a href="https://apps.apple.com/us/app/durham-rollout/id1431854760">iPhone</a> and
<a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=gov.durhamnc.recollect.waste&hl=en_US">

<p class="MsoNoSpacing">The Public Works Department began brining earlier today on all primary roadways and bridges since temperatures are projected to be below freezing when the rain begins later tonight. Crews will also be working overnight to place additional
