The program works in partnership with local employers to develop a talent pipeline of emerging employees. It’s designed to prepare young adults, ages 16-24, for jobs and careers through project-based work experiences led by local employers in Durham’s top employment

Young adults joining one of the sessions will earn an $800 stipend for successful program completion. As part of the session, participants will also take part in a virtual job skills workshop provided by Durham Technical Community College. Following completion
of the workshop, participants will then have the opportunity to apply lessons learned in paid, work-based learning experiences with local employers while exploring education pathways and career options.<o:p></o:p></p>
