I heard from my provider rep that as of their update yesterday 04/03/17 this issue has gone to the Medical Director for review.



I do not have a name higher than our provider rep.

It seems like we are getting the run around at Caresource.  Does anyone have a good contact (preferably higher up) at Caresource that can help us with this issue?

We changed to the Alere molecular strep test (which is CLIA waived) several months ago.  Careesource had been paying for the test in the beginning.  Recently, they have been denying it and even taking back payments.  We have been trying for weeks to get this resolved.

Does anyone else use the Alere molecular strep test and are you having the same problems?
