We are sharing information about a sign-on advocacy opportunity organized
by Dr Jonathan Winickoff, AAP E-Cigarette Chapter Co-Champion from
Massachusetts.

*Here are the details: *

   - Dr Winickoff and his colleagues have drafted a White Paper (attached)
   outlining the impact of flavored e-cigarettes on public health and
   pediatric nicotine addiction. The paper details the significant rise in
   e-cigarette use among US youth and outlines the threat that flavored
   e-cigarettes pose to pediatric health. The document is consistent with AAP
   policy. His team will submit this white paper to the FDA, in an effort to
   urge them to remove flavored e-cigarettes from the market.
   - *Dr Winickoff is seeking pediatricians from across the country to sign
   on to this letter: if you choose to sign on, please do so in your capacity
   as an individual, not as a representative of AAP.*
