Hello Documentation Cluster!
This group has taken on some interesting challenges in the past and we have another coming up. We are working too define metadata elements that support the FAIR principles… See the session page from this summer’s meeting (https://www.esipfed.org/meetings/upcoming-meetings/sm19 <https://www.esipfed.org/meetings/upcoming-meetings/sm19>) for some ideas.
We will discuss metadata elements and checks that we are proposing to support FAIR Principles as git issues.
Starting points are available for comment as a set of issues at:
F - https://github.com/NCEAS/metadig-checks/labels/Findable <https://github.com/NCEAS/metadig-checks/labels/Findable>
A - https://github.com/NCEAS/metadig-checks/labels/Accessible <https://github.com/NCEAS/metadig-checks/labels/Accessible>
I - https://github.com/NCEAS/metadig-checks/labels/Interoperable <https://github.com/NCEAS/metadig-checks/labels/Interoperable> and
R - https://github.com/NCEAS/metadig-checks/labels/Reusable <https://github.com/NCEAS/metadig-checks/labels/Reusable>
I added a label to these discussions to identify issues that might be good discussion topics in the cluster… Use it if you want to participate in a discussion during a cluster meeting…
