[esip-semantictech] Reflecting on a positive week for SemTech @ESIP Summer Meeting

Thanks for your email Lewis. I completely agree: we had a great week at 
ESIP and a great showing. We saw a lot of new faces in a multitude of 
sessions that involved talk of semantics, ontologies, tools for using 
them, use cases, etc.

We also won a FUNding Friday award that will let us kick start our work 
with the ENVO ontology. I'll send a follow-up email on that soon.

As Lewis mentioned, the board received the results of the evaluation of 
the ontology portals and will be considering where to go from here. The 
board may have some questions about what the sustainment model for the 
the portals is. In preparation for our next meeting on August 22, I'd 
like to ask everyone to start thinking about that. Let's discuss ideas 
at our monthly telecon.
