What’s the update?
Wanted to send a quick notice to the community regarding next actions for the above event.

What are the next steps?
At this point in time I think we can safely open our call for proposals (which includes anyone and everyone nominating colleagues who may be able to make contributions to the event) as well as for us to think about inviting an opening speaker or two whom presumably would be from outside of ESIP and we would offer financial assistance to.
It would be my suggestion that we review content we receive and close the CFP the beginning of April. This will enable us to review content and give notice in plenty of time for individuals who need to forecast travel.
