Dear All,

This is a belated and short notes that the BoF session "Using Schema.org
and Enriched Metadata to Enable/Boost FAIRness on Research Resources" at
the RDA P13 was well attended and received (slides

we also had good discussion. Taking the discussion into account, a few of
us (Adam Shepherd, Leyla Garcia, Nick Juty, SiriJodha Khalsa and myself)
have been drafting this case statement

for proposing a RDA Research Schema Working Group.

There will be regular meetings on 2nd Thursday 8pm UTC (9pm CET/1pm PDT/6am
AEST on Friday). Please mark this an hour meeting on your calendar if you
would like to attend.

The next meeting is on this Thursday 9th, a major part of this meeting is
to discuss the case statement. For those who aren't able to join the
meeting, it is much appreciated if you can read and comment on the case
statement. If you know any relevant groups from within or outside of the
RDA we can collaborate with, or any groups who could potentially adopt
output from the work group, please add these groups to the case statement.
