Dear ESIP team,

We are writing to inform you that one or more resources associated with
your organization has been harvested and is now available in the
EarthPortal <https://earthportal.eu>, the semantic artefact catalogue
for the Earth sciences and would like to notify the relevant contact(s).

      Details of the Resource:

  *

    Resource Name/Title:SWEET Ontologies

  *

    Catalog Reference/ID:http://sweetontology.net/sweetAll

  *

Description:The semantic web for Earth and environmental terminology
(SWEET) is an investigation in improving discovery and use of Earth
science data, through software understanding of the semantics of web
resources. SWEET is a collection of ontologies conceptualizing a
knowledge space for Earth system science, represented using the web
ontology language (OWL). It includes both orthogonal concepts
(space, time, Earth realms, physical quantities, etc.) and
integrative science knowledge concepts (phenomena, events, etc.).
The ontology is modularized into 224 component files in this
version, each representing a different namespace, with numerous
dependencies implemented by OWL imports between the namespace.
Component factoring may change in future versions.

We understand that you may not have been aware this resource was
included in our catalog. Please feel free to review the details of the
resource at https://earthportal.eu/ontologies/SWEET and let us know if
any updates or corrections are required.

If you have any questions, require assistance in accessing the resource,
or need further clarification about your role, do not hesitate to
contact us directly at support at earthportal.eu
<mailto:support at earthportal.eu>.

We value your collaboration and thank you in advance for your support.

Best regards,

The EarthPortal Team
