SPRING IS HERE! 
Happy Spring to your and yours! The daffodils are up, the azaleas are ready
to burst and the crops are in the fields.  All of these are sure signs that
the Durham Farmers' Market will be open for business once again.  This
Saturday, April 2nd, is our grand opening for the 2005 season.  We'll have
lots of fresh produce, flowers, herbs, baked goods and handcrafted products
to help you kick the winter doldrums once and for all.   I hope you'll be
able to come out and join us this Saturday and say hello.   We have many
exciting events planned for the season, several new vendors for you to
become acquainted with and, as always, a wealth of wonderful produce and
handcrafted products to share with the community.   If the restlessness of
warming temperatures is not enough to tempt you out, we'll also have live
music during the course of the morning courtesy of Rick Davis.  I hope you
can make it.   [The Durham Farmers' Market is held Saturday mornings from
8-12 during the market season (April to November).  We are located on Morris
Street, just north of The Carolina Theater in downtown Durham.]
