"PUZZLE WHAT?"
PuzzleHunt is Manbites Dog¹s fourth FREE participatory performance event, in
which hundreds of people attempt to solve puzzles located throughout Durham
Central Park and other nearby sites.

"WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?"
PuzzleHunt is fun for all ages. You can play to win, or play for fun -- or
you can just enjoy the performances, take pictures of the puzzles, and
explore the park.
It's up to you.

"BUT I'M NO GOOD AT PUZZLES!!"
The first round puzzles range from easy to moderate difficulty. No esoteric
knowledge or extraordinary skills are required to solve them. Teams that
solve all or most of the first round puzzles can attempt to win prizes by
solving the final puzzles, which are more challenging, but still solvable.
Working with a team (4 is a good number) is also very helpful. Most teams
will be able to solve at least SOME of the puzzles, and many will solve them
all.

"PREVIOUSLY AT PUZZLEHUNT"
Here are links to solutions for previous PuzzleHunts. IMPORTANT: Please
don't be intimidated by their difficulty level. Our 2002 and 2003 events
were deliberately complex with some really challenging puzzles - about 7 or
8 on a scale of 10 (based on number and difficulty of puzzles, and
complexity of the final puzzle challenges). We're giving you a break this
year there are fewer puzzles in PuzzleHunt 2005, and the estimated degree
of difficulty is about 5. (Early puzzles are EASY, later puzzles take
somewhat more effort to solve.)

"CAN I GET A HINT?"
Check our PuzzleHint page every day to collect clues
that may help your puzzle solving on June 26.

"WHEN DID YOU SAY IT HAPPENS?"
SUNDAY June 26, 2005, noon to 3:30 p.m. RAIN OR SHINE!
Wear weatherappropriate clothing and comfortable walking shoes.

"HOW DO I GET THERE?"
Location: Durham Central Park
(two blocks north of downtown on Foster Street)
