Important Recycling Changes! Beginning July 1, 2005, the City's recycling contractor, Tidewater Fibre Corporation (TFC), will stop collection of gable-top (orange juice, milk containers) and aseptic containers (juice, soup, soy milk containers) and begin collection of mixed paper. These changes apply to curbside collection and all nine City drop-off centers. TFC will continue to provide curbside and drop-off collection of aluminum containers, steel cans, glass bottles and jars, certain types of plastic bottles, plastic six-pack rings, newspaper, white and colored office paper, magazines and catalogs, and corrugated cardboard.
